Reverend J. has been a well respected tattooist and piercing professional since 1997. After enduring a lengthy and expensive apprenticeship, Reverend J. has had many guest artist spots throughout the west coast before opening TATMANDU in 2004.

His brother and shop manager, Remy, has been a professional tattooist and piercer since 2003. Remy is also an accomplished sculptor and portrait artist.

Andy, has been a mixed media artist for the last 20 years and has been a member of team TATMANDU since 2008. His custom work has brought an amazing addition to the creative engergy that flows thoughout the shop.

Together they bring to TATMANDU professionalism and quality in every piercing or tattoo. They can bring any design to life.

TATMANDU Services

We provide affordable tattoos and piercings in a sterile and friendly atmosphere.

Tattoos

• Customers can choose from a variety of designs.
• Custom designs are drawn for no additional charge. We have many customers who take us up on this offer, so please allow an appropriate amount of time for custom designs. Piercings
• Standard jewelry is always included.
• Stretching (moving from standard gauge to a higher gauge in increments) is available.

Jewelry

• TATMANDU has Walla Walla's largest selection of gauged jewelry.
• Jewelry sizes ranging from 20 gauge to 25mm in stock.
• Our jewelry stock is updated monthly.
• We have the right jewelry for any piercing.
• Custom jewelry orders are available.
• Though we encourage all our customers to be able to change their own jewelry, we will change out jewelry at no charge.

Aftercare

• We provide our customers with both written and verbal aftercare instructions.
• Aftercare products are available for purchase.

Sterilization

In any tattoo shop, the first question on the customer's mind is always about safety and sterilization.

Tattoos

• We use new needles on every customer. Our needles come prepackaged and sterilized. The sterilization is verified by an independent lab, then double checked once they reach our inventory. Customers are able to see us open the package at the beginning of the tattoo and put the needles into a sharps container when the tattoo is finished.
• Our ink caps are single use only. We use them once on the tattoo, then throw them away. We do not recycle ink.
• The grips and tubes used with the machine during your tattoo are also single use only. We open the package at the beginning of the tattoo and throw them away when the tattoo is finished.
• We also bag our tattoo machines during the tattooing process for additional safety.
• Our tattoo customers can rest assured knowing that everything that comes into contact with their skin during the tattoo process is single use only.

Piercings

• We use new needles on every customer. Our needles come prepackaged and sterilized. The sterilization is verified by an independent lab, then double checked once they reach our inventory. Customers are able to see us open the package at the beginning of the piercing and put the needles into a sharps container when the piercing is finished.
• Our piercing clamps undergo a chemical bath, then autoclave sterilization prior to each use.
• Our surgical lubrication packets, used during piercings, are sterile and single use only.
• All of our piercing jewelry is 316L surgical implant grade steel. This is the same steel that is used to make a pin in surgeries (i.e. a hip pin). This steel has the lowest allergen rating of all commercially available jewelry.
