Quality and Economy

SAFETY

  • All of our needles are single-use, pre-sterilized, and verified by an independent lab.
  • Since safety is so important, we encourage our customers to discuss questions and concerns with our artists.

TATTOOS

  • We use single-use products in every tattoo, including (but not limited to): gloves, needles, ink caps, petroleum jelly applicators, and stencils.
  • We guarantee that every piece of equipment that touches your tattoo has been safeguarded: we bag both our machines and our arm and leg stands.

Tattoo Prices

  • The minimum price for tattoos is $50.
  • Tattoos are priced by the design.
  • You can use any existing design of your choice, or we will custom draw one for you for free.
  • Things that can increase the price of a tattoo include size, complexity of design, amount of lines, and coloration.
  • Because it is very difficult to quote exact prices over the phone, we ask that you bring your existing design in. If you do not have a design, we will quote the price after we have drawn the piece to scale.
  • The price we quote is the price you pay, no surprises for your wallet if the tattoo takes longer than we anticipated.

Aftercare Products

  • Tattoos: Ink Fixx Ointment $7

Quick Aftercare Instructions

  1. Wash Your Hands before touching your tattoo every time.
  2. Rinse your tattoo with soap and plenty of clean water. Soap should be dye and fragrance free, such as Dial Antibacterial.
  3. Pat dry with a clean, soft cloth.
  4. Apply a thin layer of Ink Fixx Ointment. This will keep the tattoo supple and prevent scabbing.
  5. Repeat at least 2 times daily, or as necessary.

Tattoo Aftercare

  • You may remove the bandage after about 2-4 hours (its sole purpose is to stop any bleeding). Do not re-cover the tattoo: doing so will suffocate healing and may cause infection.
  • Follow steps 1 through 5 of the Quick Aftercare Instructions.
  • Remember to wear clean, loose fitting clothes so your tattoo is allowed to “breathe”.
  • Remember to change your bed sheets at least once a week.
  • After about a week, you may discontinue using Ink Fixx Ointment and use lotion (dye and fragrance free, such as Ink Fixx Lotion) until the tattoo is completely healed.
  • Your tattoo should not scab: it should flake and scale. Tattoos scab when they are not properly cared for. Increase the amount and frequency of application of Ink Fixx ointment used to soften the skin.

Estimated Healing Times*

  • Line Work Only: 2-3 weeks
  • Line Work with Shading: 3-4 weeks
  • Line Work with Shading and Full Color: 4-6 weeks

*Healing times are approximate and will vary in accordance to general health and adherence to aftercare instructions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What can I do to speed up my tattoo’s healing time?
A. Take good care of yourself and your tattoo! For best results, follow these aftercare instructions closely. Taking vitamin C, a multi vitamin, and a zinc supplement can also speed up healing time. Drink the recommended amount of water daily (eight 8 oz. glasses daily), and eat foods rich in protein and iron.
Q. When is the soonest I can get a touch-up, or get my tattoo finished?
A. You can get your tattoo finished or touched up after the tattoo is completely healed. The tattoo will feel the same as the surrounding skin: it will no longer be flaking, raised, shiny, or waxy-feeling.

Avoid the Following During the Healing Process:

  • Avoid oral contact with your tattoo.
  • Avoid any unnecessary handling.
  • Do not let anyone touch or handle your tattoo.
  • Avoid hot tubs, Jacuzzis, hot baths, and swimming pools.
  • Do not tan: also be aware that tanning will cause your tattoo to fade—even years after it is completely healed.
  • Avoid aspirin, caffeine, alcohol, drugs, and nicotine. All of these will slow healing.
  • Never let a healing tattoo come in contact with body fluids.
  • Avoid tanning oils, sand, and lotion.
  • Do not use Vaseline, a product in which bacteria thrive.
  • Do not use hydrogen peroxide or rubbing alcohol, which can promote scarring. Use Dial soap and clean water to cleanse.
  • Do not use Neosporin: it heals wounds so well that it will cause your skin to reject the ink.
